Gangwar Institute (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the Gangwar NEET Classes & CBT mobile application and the website gangwarinstitutecbt.com (together, the “Service”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

Account details — name, email address, mobile number and password when you register or are enrolled by the institute.
Profile details — optional profile photo, guardian name/mobile, city and study mode.
Payment details — when you buy a course or package, payment is processed by our gateway Razorpay. We receive the payment status and a transaction ID; we do not store your card, UPI or bank credentials.
Learning activity — courses you enrol in, lesson progress, test attempts and scores, and messages you post in a lesson’s live chat.

Information collected automatically

Device & session data — device type (web/app), last-active time and a login session token, used to secure your account and enforce device limits.
We do not collect your contacts, precise location, SMS, call logs or photos (other than a profile picture you choose to upload).

2. How we use your information

To create and manage your account and provide the courses, live classes, notes and tests you enrol in.
To process payments and record your fee/invoice history.
To show your progress, results and analytics.
To send important service messages and notifications (e.g. new content, fee reminders, password reset).
To keep the Service secure and prevent misuse or unauthorised sharing of paid content.

3. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

Razorpay — to process payments (subject to Razorpay’s own privacy policy).
Infrastructure providers — our hosting and database providers that store data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
Legal — where required by law or to protect our rights.

4. Video content

Lecture videos are streamed from YouTube in a protected in-app player. YouTube may set cookies and collect viewing data under Google’s privacy policy. Downloading or re-sharing paid videos is not permitted.

5. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see “Your rights” below), after which we remove your personal data except where we must keep certain records (e.g. payment/tax records) for legal compliance.

6. Security

Passwords are stored using strong one-way hashing (bcrypt) and are never visible to staff. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

7. Children’s privacy

The Service is intended for NEET aspirants, typically 16 years and older. If you are under 18, please use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Your rights & choices

Access & update — edit your name, email, mobile and photo from the Profile screen.
Delete your account — request deletion of your account and personal data at gangwarinstitutecbt.com/delete-account or by emailing us. See that page for exactly what is removed.
Notifications — you can control push notifications from your device settings.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
